General Prayut Chan-o-cha, the Prime Minister, graciously presided over the 27th Annual Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2019 ceremony at Santi Maitri Building, Government House, on Monday, September 16, 2019.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and attended by notable figures including Mr. Distat Hotrakitya, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister; Mr. Suriya Jungrungreangkit, Minister of Industry; Mr. Pasu Loharjun, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry; Mr. Thongchai Chawalitpichaet, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works; Mr. Banjong Sukreeta, Mr. Kornpat Vee Muangnoi, and Mr. Supakit Boonsiri, Deputy Director-Generals of the Department of Industrial Works, along with ministry officials and over 600 industrial sector business representatives.
Mr. Rawiwan Panasantipap, Managing Director of Thai Energy Conservation Co., Ltd., received the Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2019 in the category of Outstanding Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises for Creative Product Development for the second consecutive year.
The Prime Minister’s Industry Award is a prestigious honor and a source of great pride for industrial entrepreneurs in Thailand. Organized annually by the Ministry of Industry, the award is given to industrial enterprises that demonstrate commitment, perseverance, and dedication to improving their operations in line with established standards. Additionally, the award reinforces the Ministry of Industry’s policies, which are aligned with the government’s main economic development goals and enhancing Thailand’s competitiveness, aiming toward “Thailand 4.0.”
